1. Operator and agreement

These terms govern Starly - Fact Checks & Notes (Starly) and starlysky.com, operated by F.T. PC EXPERTS LIMITED, Cyprus. Contact support@starlysky.com. By using the service you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, stop using it. The Privacy Policy explains data processing and is available separately. Apple’s terms and the applicable standard or custom app licence also govern your acquisition and use of the iOS app.

2. Purpose and eligibility

Starly provides daily notes, tools to examine supported astronomical statements, and a private record of personal observations. It is intended for personal reflection and entertainment. You must meet the age requirements in our Privacy Policy and local law and have authority to make any purchase. The App Store age rating describes content suitability and does not replace those requirements.

3. No prediction guarantee or professional advice

Interpretations are not established scientific predictions. A match between a prediction and an event does not prove causation, and your trust score is your own opinion. Community figures describe voluntary participants, not a representative survey. No feature guarantees an outcome or the accuracy of a future event.

Do not use Starly for medical, legal, financial, emergency or other safety-critical decisions. It does not replace qualified professional advice. NASA/JPL references identify the source of astronomical data, not a partnership, endorsement or scientific validation of predictions.

4. Accounts, devices and your records

Basic access begins with an installation identity; Apple sign-in is optional and supports linking and synchronization. Protect your device and Apple account. You are responsible for the material and context you submit and for selecting the intended account. A logout, history deletion, account deletion and subscription cancellation have different effects.

Keep an exported copy of records you need. Local-only notes, original screenshots and device backups are not a cloud archive we can restore. Availability of old records may depend on your device, account and valid backups. Corrections create new versions; they do not silently rewrite a past reading you evaluated.

5. Imports and AI-assisted processing

Submit only material you own or have permission to process. You retain your rights in your content and grant us the limited permission needed to store, analyze, synchronize and display it to you as described in the Privacy Policy. Private imports are not licensed for public publication or advertising.

Review recognized text and confirm dates and time zone before analysis. AI output can omit, misunderstand or misclassify a statement. Some claims are unsupported or lack enough data; that is not a finding that they are false. Sources and cached evidence may be unavailable or delayed. Check an important result against its quotation and stated evidence.

6. Free and paid features

The app identifies which features require paid access and any available free allowance. Reading, supported sky information, trust, community withdrawal, export and deletion are not made conditional on purchasing a subscription. Diary/statistics access and additional imports may require a paid entitlement. An expired subscription does not itself instruct us to erase retained records. Features and allowances may change prospectively with appropriate notice and subject to existing rights.

7. Prices, recurring subscriptions and trials

The App Store purchase sheet shows the product, local price, currency, billing period and any eligible introductory offer before you confirm. Prices can vary by storefront, currency and tax treatment. Weekly, monthly and quarterly products are recurring subscriptions. Payment is charged through your Apple account.

A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled in time under Apple’s billing rules, normally at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Any free trial is available only where the purchase sheet states it and you are eligible; after the trial, the stated paid period begins unless you cancel. There is no implied trial on a product that does not show one. Apple handles confirmation and billing; a displayed marketing example is not the final charge.

8. Lifetime access, restoration and refunds

A lifetime product is a one-time purchase for the paid access described when purchased, without recurring subscription renewal. “Lifetime” refers to the supported life of the Starly service, not a guarantee that every future separate product or third-party service will be provided forever. Mandatory consumer rights and any express purchase promise remain in force.

Use Restore Purchases with the Apple account that owns the purchase. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → your Apple account → Subscriptions. Deleting the app, history or account does not cancel billing. Refund requests are handled through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to its process and applicable law. Contact us for help with access that does not match a verified purchase.

9. Acceptable use and intellectual property

Do not attempt unauthorized access, bypass access controls, interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, submit unlawful or infringing content or impersonate someone else. Respect other people’s privacy. The app, design, software and our original materials remain protected by their owners’ rights. Your right to use the service is personal and subject to these terms; third-party material keeps its original ownership.

10. Service changes and suspension

We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend features for security, legal compliance or technical reasons. Third-party outages can affect sign-in, purchases, analysis or notifications. We may restrict abusive use, with notice and an opportunity to contact us where appropriate. We will not use these terms to remove non-waivable consumer rights or retrospectively excuse a promised paid service. If a paid service is materially withdrawn, available remedies depend on the circumstances and applicable law.

11. Responsibility and applicable rights

Use the service with an understanding of the stated limitations. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every AI-generated interpretation is correct. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer remedies. These terms are governed by Cyprus law, without depriving you of mandatory protections or courts available in your country of residence. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute.

12. Changes and contact

The effective date identifies the current version. We will give appropriate notice of material changes; they do not retroactively alter a completed purchase contrary to law.
